REMARKS Since buying Golden Aura the owner has spent much
time and money keeping her up to spec. Only last year Golden Aura
was treated for osmosis and re-sprayed giving her now rejuvenated
topsides and in 1997 a New Yanmar was installed and so on. Her inventory
is very comprehensive as you can see.
Golden
Aura has laid teak to her deck, cockpit and seating. This teak appears
hardly worn at all, though where the teak has been screwed to the
deck and sealed with teak pellets, damp appears to have got in.
It is suggested that the pellets affected should be removed and
the areas be cleaned and replaced with new screws and teak pellets.
The seams on the teak look generally good with the paying compound
in it appearing sound.
Down
below Golden Aura continues to let off the unique Nautor's Swan
feel. Having been re-cushioned this year her and having minor work
done to her fo'c'sle at present she looks very good.
